In Lawcus, logging your billable hours is crucial for accurate invoicing and tracking your productivity. Creating time entries from matters is a simple and efficient process that allows you to record the time spent on various tasks, such as research, due diligence, brief writing, and more. This guide will walk you through the steps to create time entries from a matter in Lawcus.

To create time entry from a matter:

1. Click "Matters" in the left sidebar menu.

2. Click the specific matter you want to create a time entry for.

3. Find the "Quick Actions" card on the right-hand side. Click "Add time" in the "Quick Actions" card to open a new time entry form. Alternatively, click the "Time" tab at the top to see all time entries for the matter. Click "Add" to open the time entry form.

4. Complete Time Entry Details like Date, Duration, Description, Rate etc.

5. Click "Save" to create the time entry for the matter.
