If you find it is not possible to convert a lead into a client, you can mark the lead as a lost lead.

To mark a lead as a lost lead:

  1. Click on Leads in the sidebar menu.

  2. Click on the lead you want to mark as a lost lead. Lawcus displays the Lead Details screen.


3. Click on the Did not hire button (or click on Did not hire in the Quick Actions panel). Lawcus asks for confirmation.


4. Type in the reason for the client not hiring your firm, or select it from the drop-down list. You can either select from the drop-down list or you can type the name of a person and press the Enter key to add it to the list.

5. You can also type an optional Note.

6. Finally, click on the Yes button.

Note: Lawcus will mark the lead as a lost lead and move it out from your Intake list to the Not hired leads list.


Tip: If there is a change in circumstances, you can click the Re-open link to once again add the entry back to your Intake list.
