The client trust balance report in Lawcus provides a comprehensive overview of trust balances for each client. This report allows you to easily track the amount of trust balance associated with each client, along with the date of their most recent transaction. The balances are arranged alphabetically by client name, and the report also displays the bank account where the trust deposit is held.

You can filter the report based on:

Select Client

Highlight trust balance exclusively for the chosen client.

Select Practice Area

Include trust balance summaries solely for clients with matters in the designated practice area.

Date Range

Restrict the report data to trust transactions within the selected period.

Display clients with zero balance

Enable this option to include all clients in the report, irrespective of their current account balance.

Navigating to the Client Trust Balance Reporting Interface

To navigate to the client trust balance report interface, follow these steps:

  1. From anywhere in Lawcus, click on "Dashboard" in the side-menu.

  2. Tap on Reports.
    ​

  3. Navigate to "Client Trust Balance."
    ​

Filtering Client Trust Balance Report Data

To filter client trust balance report data, follow these steps:

  1. Tap the "Filter" button.

  2. Choose from the available metrics to filter the details featured in the report.

  3. Close the window once you're done filtering.

Generating a Client Trust Balance Report in PDF Format

To generate a client trust balance report in PDF format, follow these steps:

  1. Click the "Download PDF" button.

  2. Tap "Save File" and then click "Ok" to save the PDF report.

  3. Open the downloaded PDF report with any desired software.

Curating a Client Trust Balance Report in CSV Format

To curate a client trust balance report in CSV format, follow these steps:

  1. Click the "Download CSV" button.

  2. Tap "Save File" and then click "Ok" to save the CSV report.
