The client trust balance report highlights the trust balances for each client. The report summarizes the overall amount of trust balance in each client's name along with the date of the client's most recent transaction.

On the report, balances are arranged in an alphabetical order of client names in addition to the bank account where the trust deposit is being held.

You can filter the report based on:

Select Client

Strictly highlight trust balance of the chosen client

Select Practice Area

Limit the trust balance summaries to only clients that have matters in the designated practice area

Date Range

Restrict the report data to trust transactions that fall within the period selected

Display clients with zero balance

Toggling this switch would will populate your report with all clients regardless of their current account balance.

To navigate to client trust balance report interface:

  1. From anywhere on Lawcus, click Dashboard on the side-menu


  2. Tap Reports


  3. Navigate to Client Trust Balance

Filtering client trust balance report data

To filter client trust balance report data:

  1. Tap the Filter button


  2. Choose from metric(s) available to filter details that's featured in the report


  3. Close the window once done filtering


Generating a client trust balance report in PDF format

To generate a client trust balance report in PDF format:

  1. Click the Download PDF button


  2. Tap Save File and then Ok



  3. Open up the downloaded pdf report with any desired software


Curating a client trust balance report in CSV format

To curate a client trust balance report in CSV format

  1. Click the Download CSV button


  2. Tap Save File and then Ok


  3. Open the report with any spreadsheet software
