Legal teams may negotiate a billing rate different from their usual rates for certain matters that require more complex work. In these cases, Lawcus offers the option to set a custom rate for each member of your organization who is assigned to the matter.
Adding a custom rate for users assigned to a matter
To set a custom billing rate for users handling a matter:
Go to Matters, then open the desired matter
Navigate to the Quick Actions section, then tap Edit matter
Click Add a custom rate
Click the Select user or users group field, choose a desired teammate from the dropdown options, then enter their custom rate for that matter
Keep clicking Add a custom rate to add as many new fields as you want
Click Update to wrap up the process
