In Lawcus, streamlining your time-tracking process is essential for optimizing your productivity. Creating a time entry from a note is a seamless way to ensure you accurately capture billable hours for the work done on a matter. This article will guide you through the simple steps to create a time entry directly from a note in Lawcus.

To create a time entry from a note:

  1. Click on Matters in the sidebar menu to open the Matters screen.

  2. Click on a matter to view its details.

  3. In the Interaction section, hover your mouse pointer over the note entry. Lawcus will display icons next to the entry.

  4. Click on the Create Time Entry icon. Lawcus will create a time entry based on the contents of the note.

    Note: The entry will be made with a default time of 10 minutes, but you can change this to the actual time spent.

  5. Make any required changes and click the Save button to save the entry.

By following these simple steps, you can easily create a time entry from a note within Lawcus, saving you valuable time and ensuring precise tracking of billable hours for your matters.
