OneDrive for Business is a powerful file storage and synchronization service that provides a secure and convenient platform to store and access your documents. With Lawcus' seamless integration with OneDrive, you can easily manage your files and collaborate on matters without leaving the Lawcus platform. This article will guide you through the setup process and showcase how to utilize OneDrive within Lawcus efficiently.

To begin using OneDrive within Lawcus, follow these simple steps:

  1. Navigate to the top-right corner of the Lawcus dashboard and click on your profile avatar. From the drop-down menu that appears, select "Settings." Within the Settings page, click on "Apps & Integrations" to explore the available integrations.

  2. Locate and select "Files Integration" from the list of available integrations.

  3. Click on the toggle button next to OneDrive to enable the integration.

  4. You'll be prompted to provide your Office365 credentials to authenticate your OneDrive account with Lawcus.

Important Note: Please be aware that only one administrator on your Lawcus account can connect OneDrive to Lawcus. If you wish to collaborate with others on documents and files through OneDrive and Lawcus, you must share the "Lawcus" folder in OneDrive with other members of your OneDrive/Office 365 organization.

Utilizing OneDrive Integration in Lawcus:

Once the integration is complete, you can seamlessly access and manage your OneDrive files within Lawcus. Here's how:

  • Matter Details Screen: For each matter you create in Lawcus, a dedicated folder (Matter Number) will be automatically generated in your OneDrive account. This ensures an organized and efficient document management system.

  • Upload and Access Files: A tab featuring the OneDrive logo is within the matter details screen. Click on this tab to upload documents directly from your computer into Lawcus. These files will be automatically synced to your corresponding OneDrive folder.

  • Collaborate with Ease: By using the OneDrive folder link available on the matter, you can conveniently access the documents associated with that specific matter in your OneDrive account. This fosters seamless collaboration with your team members, enabling everyone to work together efficiently.
