Setting Up LawPay Integration with Ease

When handling payments for legal services, such as invoice payments, LawPay stands out as a trusted online payment solution that ensures secure and prompt transactions for law firms.

Steps to integrate LawPay with Lawcus

  1. Click on the Avatar Icon and select Settings.

  2. Go to Apps & Integrations and click Online Payments.

  3. Locate LawPay and click on Connect to be redirected to LawPay, where you will authorize Lawcus to access your LawPay account.

  4. On successful authorization, the system redirects back to Lawcus to link your trust and operating accounts saved on Lawcus with LawPay trust and operating accounts.

Note: Make sure you are logged into your LawPay account on the browser tab you want to use for this integration setup.

FAQ1: Is the LawPay usage fee included in the Lawcus subscription?

Answer: LawPay fee is not included with the Lawcus subscription and has to be covered independently.

FAQ2: Is LawPay integration the only way to accept online credit card payments from clients?

Answer: No, you can also get online payments via Lawcus Payments.

FAQ3: Does Lawpay support a payment link that accepts both e-checks and credit card payments?

Answer: No, Lawpay does not currently support e-check payments.

FAQ4: Will LawPay client payments show up automatically on Lawcus or not?

Answer: When you've seamlessly integrated your LawPay account with Lawcus and send invoice payment links to clients through Lawcus, it'll automatically reflect payment status. However, if you're directly processing invoice payments via LawPay, bypassing Lawcus, you'll need to update client payments within Lawcus manually every time.

FAQ5: Can I use LawPay payment as a trigger for workflow automation?

Answer: We do have a workflow trigger called "New Payment Received," where you can use Lawpay Payment as a trigger to start the workflow.
