All Task Insights gives your firm a firm-wide view of task workload, deadlines, and areas needing immediate attention. It brings key task metrics into one place so admins and firm leaders can quickly identify overdue work, upcoming deadlines, high-priority tasks, and matters that may be at risk.
The All Task Insights page includes three charts:
Firm Task Snapshot
Tasks by Due Date Bucket
Top 10 Matters Needing Attention
Together, these charts help you understand the firm's current task workload, identify deadline risks, and determine where your team should focus first.
Note: All Task Insights provide a firm-wide view of tasks. The data displayed is based on the tasks available to the user according to their Lawcus permissions.
Firm Task Snapshot
The Firm Task Snapshot provides a quick overview of your firm's task workload across key status and urgency categories.
The snapshot includes the following tiles:
Recently Completed Tasks
All Open Tasks
Overdue Tasks
Tasks Due Today
Upcoming Tasks
High Priority Tasks
No Due Date Tasks
Each tile provides a count of tasks that fall into that category. You can drill down each tile to open the corresponding task list and investigate the tasks contributing to that number.
A. What Each Tile Means
Recently Completed Tasks
Shows tasks that were completed in the last 7 days.
This provides a quick view of recently completed work and helps the firm monitor task activity and progress over time.
All Open Tasks
Shows the total number of tasks that are currently open and have not been completed, regardless of whether they are overdue, due today, upcoming, or have no due date.
Use this number to understand the firm's overall volume of outstanding work.
Overdue Tasks
Shows open tasks whose due date has already passed and that have not yet been completed.
A high overdue count may indicate that tasks are falling behind schedule and require immediate follow-up.
Tasks Due Today
Shows open tasks that are due today and have not yet been completed.
This helps your team identify work that needs to be completed today and reduce the risk of tasks becoming overdue.
Upcoming Tasks
Shows open tasks that are due within the next 7 days.
Use this tile to identify upcoming workload and address tasks before they become urgent.
High Priority Tasks
Shows open tasks that are marked as High Priority.
These tasks may require additional attention when planning and prioritizing the team's workload.
No Due Date Tasks
Shows open tasks that do not have a due date assigned.
Tasks without due dates can be harder to prioritize and track, so this tile can help identify work that may need a deadline assigned.
B. Drill Down into Task Details
Each tile can be drilled down to view the tasks included in that metric.
Click a tile to open the corresponding task list. From there, you can further analyze the results based on:
Task/Entry
Matter
Client
Assignee
This lets you move from a high-level, firm-wide count to the specific tasks, matters, clients, or team members driving that metric.
C. How to use the Firm Task Snapshot Chart
Use the snapshot to:
Monitor the firm's overall open-task workload.
Check the number of overdue and due-today tasks.
Identify high-priority work that may require immediate attention.

Tasks by Due Date Bucket
The Tasks by Due Date Bucket chart shows your firm's open tasks grouped according to how close they are to their due dates.
Tasks are organized into the following buckets:
Overdue
Due Today
Tomorrow
This Week
Next Week
No Due Date
This chart helps you understand when the firm's current open workload is expected to be completed.
A. What each bucket means

Open tasks with a due date that has already passed.
These tasks may require immediate attention to prevent further delays.
Due Today
Open tasks that are due today.
These tasks represent work that should be addressed during the current day.
Tomorrow
Open tasks that are due tomorrow.
Use this bucket to proactively review work that will become due next.
This Week
Open tasks due later in the current week.
This helps the firm understand the near-term workload.
Next Week
Open tasks due during the following week.
This provides visibility into upcoming workload and helps teams plan ahead.
No Due Date
Open tasks that do not have a due date.
Reviewing this bucket can help identify tasks that may need deadlines assigned so they can be properly prioritized.
B. How to Use This Chart
Use the Tasks by Due Date Bucket chart to understand when your firm's open tasks are due and identify work that may require attention.
You can use this chart to:

Select a specific due-date bucket to drill down into the tasks included in that category.
When you drill down into a bucket, you can review the underlying tasks and further analyze them by Task/Entry, Matter, Client, or Assignee.
C. Why this is useful

Top X Matters Needing Attention
The Top X Matters Needing Attention table identifies the matters with the highest concentration of task-related workload and urgency.
The table considers open task volume along with urgency indicators such as:
Overdue tasks
Tasks due today
High-priority tasks
Tasks without a due date
This helps firm leaders quickly identify the matters that may require additional review or follow-up.
A. How to Interpret the Table
The Top 10 Matters Needing Attention table ranks matters based on the volume and urgency of their open tasks.
Matters with more open, overdue, or high-priority tasks may require more immediate attention than matters with fewer or less urgent tasks.
The Risk Level indicator provides a quick way to identify matters with a higher concentration of task-related risk.
Use the table to identify matters that may need attention, then drill down into the underlying tasks to understand what is driving the risk and determine the appropriate follow-up.
B. What to look for
When reviewing the table, pay particular attention to matters with:
A high number of open tasks.
Multiple overdue tasks.
Tasks due today.
Several high-priority tasks.
A large number of tasks without due dates.
A higher Risk Level.
These indicators can help you identify matters where work may be delayed, concentrated, or insufficiently scheduled.
C. Why This Is Useful
The Top 10 Matters Needing Attention table helps firms quickly identify matters that may require follow-up based on their task workload and urgency.
Use it to:
Prioritize follow-up: Identify matters with a high volume of open, overdue, or high-priority tasks.
Identify potential bottlenecks: Spot matters where outstanding tasks may be delaying progress.
Support accountability: See where teams may need to review, reassign, or complete outstanding tasks.
Plan workloads: Understand which matters have a higher concentration of task-related work.
Manage risk proactively: Address task-related risks before they lead to missed deadlines or impact client service.
