Lawcus offers a secure messaging feature that ensures the safe exchange of sensitive messages and communication between you and your clients. This article will guide you through the process of sending secure messages using Lawcus, upkeeping the privacy of your client conversations.

Method 1: Sending Secure Messages via Matter

  1. Click on Matters and navigate to the Matter that has been shared with the client on the Client Portal.

  2. Scroll down to locate the Secure Message tab.

  3. Compose the Secure Message: Add the Recipient and enter a Subject and Body for the message. You can also use Nova AI to make the body of the message better.

  4. Click the Send button to send the secure message.

  5. The secure message will be automatically shared with the client, maintaining the confidentiality of your conversation.

Method 2: Sending Secure Messages via the Interactions Menu

  1. Click on Interactions on the left and click on the + Compose button.

  2. Select the Secure Message Option.

  3. Select the Client, Matter, and the Recipient.

  4. Compose the Secure Message: Enter a Subject and Body for the message. You can also use Nova AI to make the body of the message better.

  5. Click the Send button to send the secure message.

  6. The secure message will be automatically shared with the client, maintaining the confidentiality of your conversation.

Note: It is important to note that your client will only receive or reply to secure messages after they have been invited to and activated the client portal.
