Steps to Send Drip Emails through Workflows
Let's take an example where a new lead is created, and then the drip emails are sent out to the client.
Click
Automationon the left sidebar and click on+Add Workflowto create a workflow.Input the
NameandDescriptionof the drip marketing workflow and setLead Createdas theTrigger type. ChoosePipelineandStage, and click onContinue.Scroll down to select the
Time Delayaction to set-upDelay for a set amount of timeorDelay until a day or time, and clickContinue+new action.Choose
Send Emailas the next action and clickNextto create your first email drip.Choose one of your users or yourself as the
Senderof the drip email or use theCustomoption.Specify that the recipient's name should be sourced from the new lead details. Click on
CustomandUse lead value from triggerto fetch details from the lead.Input a
Subject line, compose youremail message, or use thetemplatesand click onContinue + New Action.Create another
Time Delayaction, add the next email drip and finally click onSave.
Note: You can add as many Time delays and emails as you want in your drip email campaign. Once done, tap the Inactive toggle into Active state to get the drip marketing workflow running.
