Adding reminders to your tasks in Lawcus offers a range of benefits that help you stay organized, meet deadlines, and enhance your productivity. By setting up reminders, you can effectively prioritize your work, avoid missed deadlines, and optimize your workflow. With Lawcus, you have the flexibility to choose from different reminder types that suit your preferences and receive timely notifications tailored to your needs.

There are 3 types of reminders:

  • A pop-up reminder will display a pop-up message at the scheduled time.

  • An email reminder, in which case Lawcus will send you an email at the scheduled time.

  • A text/SMS reminder, in which case Lawcus will send an SMS to your mobile phone at the scheduled time.

Note: To enable SMS reminders, please add the text-enabled number to your profile.

You can add as many reminders as you want to a task. For example, for some important tasks, you could ask Lawcus to send you an email reminder 48 hours in advance, a text/SMS reminder 24 hours in advance, and a pop-up reminder 10 minutes before the task.

To add one or more reminders to a task:

  1. Start by navigating to the list of tasks in Lawcus and click on the task for which you want to add a reminder. This will open the task details page.

3. In the reminder entry row, you can select the type of reminder you prefer. Once you've selected the reminder type, choose the time period for the reminder from the provided drop-down lists.

Note: For pop-up reminders, you can select any time between 10 to 180 minutes, hours, or days in intervals of 10. You can manually enter the desired time period for email and SMS reminders.

5. Once you have added all the desired reminders, click on the "Update" button to save your changes and activate the reminders for the task.

After setting up the reminders, Lawcus will automatically send text messages and emails or display pop-ups at the scheduled times, depending on the reminder types you select. This ensures that you stay informed and on top of your tasks.
