How to Export Matters in Lawcus?

Exporting matter information from Lawcus allows you to migrate to a new case management software or any other legal Software-as-a-Service solution, ensuring that all matter information is kept in one place. Additionally, exporting matter data allows you to analyze the information to make informed business decisions. This article will guide you through the process of exporting matters in Lawcus.

Bulk-exporting matters' information out of Lawcus

Exporting All Matters' Data from Lawcus:

  1. Click on the avatar image and select Settings.

  2. Navigate to the "Apps and Integrations" section, and then click on "Export & Import."

  3. Within the Export & Import section, click on the "Matters" tab, and then select the "Export" tab.

  4. Click the "Export matters" button to initiate the export process.

  5. You will receive an email with a copy of the matters' data attached. Check your email inbox for this email.

Exporting matter data from selected Matters' pipeline

To export matters directly from matters' interface:

  1. Go to the Matters interface within Lawcus.

  2. Tap More Actions, then select Export to CSV from dropdown options.

  3. Check your mailbox for the email containing the exported CSV file. Download and open the CSV file to access the exported data.

Note: Please be aware that this method only exports matters within the current matter pipeline.

Exporting matters in Lawcus is a straightforward process that allows you to consolidate data or migrate to other legal software solutions. By following the steps outlined in this article, you can export matter information either in bulk from the Lawcus settings or selectively from the Matters interface.
