The new Dashboards and Insight Cards in Lawcus are designed to give users faster access to the information they need every day — without needing to run reports or navigate through multiple areas of the system.
With personalized dashboards, interactive insight cards, and customizable layouts, users can quickly review performance, upcoming work, missing time, and firm-wide activity directly from one central place.
Dashboard Levels in Lawcus
Lawcus includes two dashboard experiences
My Dashboard
Available to all users.
This dashboard is personalized based on the logged-in user and focuses on:
Individual time tracking
Tasks
Events
Daily priorities
Personal performance insights
Each user sees their own data and activity.
Firm Dashboard
Available to Firm Owners and Administrators.
This dashboard provides a firm-wide view of activity and performance across the organization, including:
Firm-wide time summaries
Team productivity
Billing activity
Matter activity
Performance insights across users and departments

My Dashboard
My Time Summary
The My Time Summary card helps users quickly review their recorded time directly from My Dashboard.
Because this card is user-specific, all numbers shown are based on the logged-in user.
What the Card Shows
At the top of the card, users can view their time for the selected date broken down into:
Billable Time
Non-Billable Time
Total Time
Below that, Lawcus provides the same summary for:
Week to Date
Month to Date
Year to Date
This gives users a quick overview of:
Time entered today
Current weekly progress
Monthly performance
Year-to-date totals
View Options
By default, the card displays information By Hours.
Users can switch the display to By Amount.
By Hours
Shows the amount of time entered.
By Amount
Shows the billing value associated with that time.
This allows users to evaluate both:
The quantity of time recorded
The value of the recorded work
Interactive Drilldowns
All numbers on the card are interactive.
For example, clicking the Month to Date Total opens a detailed breakdown of the data behind the number.
Users can then group the data by:

The Morning Briefing card is available on My Dashboard and helps users begin the day with a clear understanding of:

The card combines information from multiple areas of Lawcus into one daily working view.

Clicking Events Today opens a detailed agenda view grouped by event type, including:
Client Meetings
Internal Meetings

Each event includes:

Clicking the Next Event opens the detailed event view so users can review meeting information and prepare quickly.

The Tasks section shows how many tasks are due today.
Clicking the section opens a focused task list for the current day.

Time Target
The Time Target section helps users identify missing time from the previous working day.
For example:
If a user was expected to record 8 hours but only entered part of that time, Lawcus displays the missing amount clearly.

Firm Dashboard
Firm Time Summary
The Firm Time Summary card works similarly to My Time Summary, but at the firm level.
This card is available on the Firm Dashboard for Firm Owners and Administrators.
Instead of displaying only the logged-in user’s time, it shows activity across the entire firm.
