In Lawcus, Leads are typically converted into Matters once a potential client has been retained. However, there may be situations where a Matter needs to be moved back into the Lead pipeline—for example, if the client decides not to proceed, the case needs additional qualification, or it was converted by mistake.
Steps to Convert a Matter Back into a Lead
From the left navigation panel, click
Matters.Search for and open the Matter you want to convert.
On the right-hand side of the Matter page, under
Quick Actions, clickConvert Back to a Lead.
Select the
Pipeline Stagewhere you would like the Lead to be placed.
Click
Convertto complete the conversion.
The Matter will be converted back into a Lead and moved to the selected pipeline stage.
Note: A matter can be converted back to a lead only if it was originally created from a lead.
