  4. Click Add Action.

  5. Select Create Company.

  6. Configure the company fields you want to populate.

  7. Map information from the workflow trigger to the corresponding company fields, where applicable.

  8. Save the action.

  9. Publish or activate the workflow.

Configure the Create Company Action

After selecting Create Company, configure the information that should be added to the new company record.

Important Note: Any static text typed directly into a field will be applied to every company created by this workflow. To ensure unique corporate records (such as business names, general email addresses, or phone numbers), use dynamic merge tags to pull data directly from your workflow trigger or preceding steps.

1. Mandatory Name Fields

  • Name (*): Mandatory field required to generate a company record. Enter the full corporate or business entity name.

2. Contact & Profile Details

  • Email & Phone: Input static details or dynamically map the company's primary email address and phone number from previous workflow steps.

  • Referred By: Select or map referral sources to track how the corporate client discovered your firm.

  • Avatar, Title & Website: Add an image URL for the company's logo, set department/contact titles, or map corporate website URLs.

3. Custom Fields & Tags

  • Custom Fields: Expand this section to populate contact-level custom fields (such as Tax ID/EIN, industry categories, or custom corporate intake responses).

  • Tags: Expand this section to apply organizational tags for quick searching and filtering across Lawcus.

Example Scenarios

  • Automatically create a company record when a business client completes an online corporate intake form.

  • Convert corporate prospects scheduling consultations via the Lawcus Appointment Scheduler directly into company contact cards.
