Lawcus makes it easy to find notes and interactions within a matter using the built-in search and filtering options. Whether you’re looking for a specific note, email, text message, phone log, or secure message, you can quickly narrow down the information you need.
Locating and Searching Notes
Notes logged to a Matter or Lead can be searched and accessed directly from the main activity feed.
Click
MattersorLeadsin the left sidebar menu and select your desired record.Under the default
Infotab, locate theSearch notesbar within the activity section.Type relevant keywords to display matching notes. Clear the search text to revert to the full activity list.
Locating and Managing Interactions
While recent emails automatically appear in the central Info tab activity feed, the dedicated Interactions tab provides complete visibility and management of all case communications.
1. Viewing and Filtering Interactions
Open the Matter or Lead and click the
Interactionstab from the top menu.Filter by Type:Use the top bar to toggle betweenAll, Emails, Text Messages, Secure Messages, or Phone Logs, or use theSearchbar on the top right.Filter by Teammate:Use the left sidebar menu (Inbox, Starred, Archived, Unassigned, or Team Inboxes)to view communications assigned to specific section or team members.
2. Creating New Communications (Compose)
Click the
+ Composebutton at the top-left of the Interactions screen.Select an action from the drop-down menu:
Tip: To revert to the complete list of entries, simply clear the search box by deleting the text.
Tips for Efficient Searching:
Use Relevant Keywords: To get the most accurate results, input keywords that are specific to the information you are trying to find.
Be Precise: If you're dealing with many interactions, use unique phrases or details to locate the desired note quickly.
Use Filters: Depending on your requirements, you can also apply additional filters to refine your search even further.
