Follow these steps to integrate your Lawcus account with Gmail and Google Calendar:

  1. Click on your Avatar Image at the top-right of your screen, and select Settings from the drop-down menu.

  2. In the Settings menu, expand the Apps & Integrations section.

  3. Select Email and Calendar.

  4. Here, you'll find the option to integrate your "Email & Calendar." Click the Enable button.

  5. Enter your Email Address, and click the Sign In button to be taken to your email service provider's sign-in screen.

  6. Select the desired account from the Google account sign-in screen, if you've previously signed in to the account, then tap Next.

  7. Click Continue.

  8. Check all the blank checkboxes, then tap Continue.

  9. Toggle the Enable email integration switch on.

Note: After toggling the switch, a new folder containing communication for each matter stored on Lawcus will appear in your Gmail inbox.

Enabling & Mapping Two-way Calendar

To ensure your events and meetings sync automatically, you must toggle the calendar switch and map your Google account calendar with Lawcus.

Steps to enable and map two-way calendar

  1. Toggle the Enable two-way calendar integration switch.

  2. Tap the dropdown menu to select the Gmail account's calendar you want to map Lawcus to.

Note: If you tap the Update Calendar list button for whatever reason, you'd need to map your calendar again to keep it in sync with Lawcus.

Note: It's advisable to add events to the Lawcus calendar rather than third-party email and calendar accounts because changes reflect faster if done this way.

FAQ Section

FAQ1: Do events deleted on Google Calendar automatically delete on Lawcus Calendar?

Answer: Yes, it does get deleted and updated on Lawcus. Our integration with Google Calendar is two-way, meaning that actions taken on Google Calendar reflect on Lawcus Calendar.

FAQ2: How do you make tasks appear on the integrated Google Calendar?

Answer: Our integration with Google Calendar primarily syncs events. Unfortunately, tasks do not sync to Google Calendar and are visible only on the Lawcus calendar.

FAQ3: Can I view my calendar on the mobile app?

Yes, you can view your calendar on the Lawcus mobile app. Additionally, since Lawcus allows integration with your Google Calendar, you can check your meetings from there as well.

To view events on your Lawcus calendar in the mobile app:

  1. Open the Lawcus app.

  2. Navigate to Todo > Calendar to view your schedule.

FAQ4: The events added to my Google Calendar don't show up in Lawcus. What should I do?

If events from your Google Calendar aren't showing up in Lawcus, follow these troubleshooting steps to address the issue:

  • Wait for Synchronization: Allow 10–15 minutes for events from your Google Calendar to sync with Lawcus.

  • Check Calendar Mapping

    • In your Lawcus account, click on your Avatar Icon.

    • Navigate to Settings > Apps and Integration > Email and Calendar Integration and verify that your calendar is successfully mapped.

    • Note: Avoid clicking "Update Calendar List" after mapping your calendar. This refreshes the calendar list from Google Calendar and will require you to remap.
