Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of security to your Lawcus account by requiring a one-time code in addition to your password every time you log in. You can easily enable Two-Factor Authentication for your account, and this guide will walk you through the process.

Two-Factor Authentication requires a mobile authenticator app, such as Google Authenticator or Authy or Salesforce Authenticator

Enabling Two-Factor Authentication

  • Click on your Avatar Icon located in the top-right corner of the Lawcus interface and expand the "User Settings" option.

  • Within the User Settings menu, locate the "Enable Two-Factor Authentication" toggle button and click on it. You will be prompted to enter your password in the Two-Factor Authentication Setup section.

  • Download a mobile authenticator app on your smartphone or tablet. Popular options include Google Authenticator, Authy, or Salesforce Authenticator. You can find links to download these apps within the Lawcus interface during setup.

  • Launch the mobile authenticator app on your device and use it to scan the QR code displayed on the Lawcus screen. Once the QR code is captured, the app will generate a time-sensitive code.

  • In the Lawcus interface, enter the code generated by your mobile authenticator app into the designated two-factor code field. Finally, click the "Enable" button to complete the setup process.

Logging in with Two-Factor Authentication enabled

  • With Two-Factor Authentication enabled, every time you log in to Lawcus, you will be prompted to enter a validation code.

  • Open the mobile authenticator app on your device and locate the time-sensitive Two-Factor Authentication code generated by the app.

  • Quickly enter the code into the appropriate field on the Lawcus login screen.

  • Click the "Login" button to access your Lawcus account securely. Please note that you need to enter the token code promptly as it has a limited time validity.

Disabling Two-Factor Authentication

  • If you wish to disable Two-Factor Authentication for your Lawcus account, click on your user Avatar located in the top-right corner of the interface, select "User Settings," and then select "Two-factor Authentication" and disable it.

By following these steps, you can easily set up and manage Two-Factor Authentication in Lawcus, enhancing the security of your account and protecting your sensitive data.
