By default, Lawcus provides a four-stage lead conversion process, consisting of Prospect
, Initial Consultation
, Follow-up
, and Sign Agreement
. However, you can customize your lead conversion process to align with your unique workflow.
Note: Only Intake has the pipeline view where you see all these default stages and get the opportunity to customize them.
Steps to Add a Stage
While Lawcus has default stages, you can add more stages to your list when needed:
Navigate to the
Leads
section and click onIntake Pipeline View
.Scroll to the right and click on the
Add New Stage
button.Enter the
Name
of the new stage and click theAdd
button. The new stage will now appear at the end of your existing list of stages.If you want to change the order,
drag and drop
the new stage to its desired location. You can drag and drop to adjust the order for the existing stages as well.To add more stages, repeat steps 3 and 4 as needed.
Finally, click the
X button
to exit the Add New Stages mode.
Steps to Remove a Stage
To remove an unwanted stage from your lead conversion process, follow these steps:
Click on the
Ellipsis
button next to the stage name and selectRemove
from the available options.Lawcus will prompt you for confirmation and inform you that all matters associated with the stage will be closed when you remove it.
Click
Remove
to confirm and proceed. Lawcus will then remove the stage, close, and archive all related matters.
Steps to Rename a Stage
To rename a stage, follow these simple steps:
Click on the
Ellipsis
button next to the stage name and chooseRename Stage
from the dropdown menu.Enter the
New Name
for the stage and pressEnter
on your keyboard to save it.
Steps to Change the Order of the Stages
To rearrange the order of your defined stages, use the following steps:
Click on the Ellipsis button and select Reorder Stages from the dropdown.
Lawcus will display the Reorder Stages form, allowing you to drag and drop stages to their desired positions.
After adjusting the order, click the X button to close the form.
Alternatively, click on the Ellipsis of a Particular stage and click on Move to Left or Move to Right to adjust the order.
Note: You can also reorder stages by clicking on a stage name and dragging it to the left or right within the stage list.

FAQ1: Can I send automated emails with Matter custom fields when a lead moves stages?
Answer: Currently, we do not have this feature available.
FAQ2: Can a lead be stopped from progressing in a workflow/pipeline?
Answer: Currently, you are unable to do that. Even, you can't move it from one stage to another.
