How to do the Notification Settings in Lawcus?

Timely notifications have a great impact on lawyers and other stakeholders. Whether you want to activate reminders or receive immediate alerts for important changes, Lawcus allows you to personalize your notifications for a more productive workflow.

Steps to Complete Notification Settings

  1. Click on User Avatar in the top right corner.

  2. Open Settings.

  3. Click on Notification Settings under User Settings.

  4. From here, you can easily turn various notification settings on/off. Simply click on the Checkboxes of the respective notifications.

Various Notification Options Available for Users

  1. Reminder task notification

  2. Receive an email notification for an event reminder.

  3. Receive an email notification for a completed task on matters you are a member of.

  4. Receive an email notification for a new task created on matters you are a member of.

  5. Receive a notification when the client user accepts the invitation to join the client portal.

  6. Receive a notification when a teammate accepts the invitation.

  7. Receive a notification in case of a workflow error.

  8. Receive email notification the moment any significant change happens, for example, when someone assigns you a matter; a matter is closed or re-opened, etc.

  9. Receive email notification if a task is assigned to you.

Note: These are user-based notifications, and each user can customize them as per their requirements.

FAQ1: How to Find Tagged Notifications?

Answer: Click on the Bell Icon on the top right and look for all tagged notifications within the pop-up.

FAQ2: Why am I not receiving email notifications from Lawcus?

Answer: If you're not getting email notifications, try the following:

  1. Check Notification Settings: Go to Settings > User Settings > Notification Settings and make sure relevant email notifications are enabled.

  2. Spam/Junk Folder: Look in your spam or junk folder to see if Lawcus emails are being filtered.

  3. Verify Email Address: Ensure your Lawcus account has the correct email address. Update it if needed.

FAQ3: Can I get regular Lawcus notifications through SMS?

Answer: Currently, we only offer SMS reminders; therefore, regular SMS notifications aren't available.

FAQ4: What is the best way to ensure I'm notified when an invoice is satisfied?

Answer: Currently, this is not possible in Lawcus. But you get notified of all the payments.
