When using Lawcus to organize your files, you have the option to share folders and their files with your clients. By default, only team members added to the matter can access the folder. However, if you want to grant access to your clients, you can easily change the privacy settings. Let's understand how.

Steps to Share Folders with Clients

  1. Go to Matters on the left and click open the desired client matter.

  2. Navigate to the Files tab and locate the desired folder.

  3. Click on the Ellipsis button and select Share folder's files from the dropdown menu.

  4. Toggle and select the client user with whom you want to share the folder. Toggle Select All, if you want to share the folder with all client users.

  5. Finally, click on Share to share the folder with the client. Once you have completed the process, the client will be able to access the folder and view its files, including images, text documents, videos, and more.

Note: It's important to ensure that you share the folder with the appropriate clients and have the necessary permissions to share the files. Double-check the client name and the folder you are sharing to avoid any accidental sharing of confidential information.
