How to Create & Apply Task Tags in Lawcus?

Task tags in Lawcus are more than labels—they help organize work, improve collaboration, and provide insights into your workflow.

Task tags are customizable labels that you can assign to tasks within Lawcus. They allow you to categorize tasks based on type, urgency, client, department, or any other criteria that suit your workflow. Think of them as digital sticky notes that help you quickly identify and filter tasks.

Method 1. How to Create Task Tags From Settings?

  1. Click on the User Avatar and select Settings.

  2. Expand Firm Settings and click on Tag Management and select Task Tags.

  3. Add the name of the tag within Tag name the field and click on Create button to save it. The color of the tags can be customised while creating or editing by clicking on the dropdown to choose the color.

Method 2: Steps to Create Task Tags from the Task Creation Page

  1. When you start creating a new task or start editing an existing task, click on the "tags."

  2. For New Tags, just type the Tag Name click on Enter to create the new tag. Also, click on the dropdown next to the tag name to apply any color of your choice to the tag.

Assigning Task Tags to the Task

  1. Go to Task from the left-hand side panel

  2. Open a task you want to add a tag to.

  3. Type the name of the tag or select the one shown in the drop-down.

  4. Save your changes.
