Lawcus lets you map Intake Form questions to Custom Fields, so information submitted by a client can automatically populate the corresponding fields in a Matter or Lead. This eliminates the need to manually enter the information after an Intake Form is submitted.
Mapping Custom Fields to Intake Questions
Follow the steps below to map an Intake Form question to a Custom Field:
Navigate to
Automations.Select
Intake Forms.Locate and open the Intake Form you want to configure.
Select the question you want to map to a Custom Field.
At the bottom of the question, click the
Attachmenticon.

A list of available Custom Fields will appear.
Review the Mapping Instructions to understand which question types can be mapped to each Custom Field type.
For example, Multiple Choice questions can be mapped to Text or Multiple Choice Custom Fields.Select the appropriate Custom Field from the dropdown and map it to the question.

Click the
Xto close the Custom Field selection.Click
Updateto save the changes to the Intake Form.
Once the form is submitted, the mapped information will automatically populate the corresponding Custom Fields in the Matter or Lead.
Note:
The following three question types cannot be mapped to Custom Fields:
Client Information
Related Contact Information
Lead Information
These question types are designed to automatically populate the relevant information and create the Contact or Lead as applicable.
