How to Create Tasks with Specific Start and End Dates or Times in Lawcus?

Easily Set Tasks with Specific Dates & Times!

In Lawcus, you can efficiently manage your tasks by setting up start and end dates or specific times for each task. This feature ensures that you stay organized and on top of your commitments. This guide will walk you through the steps to add start and end dates or times to your tasks using Lawcus.

To add a start date and/or and end date/time to a task:

  1. To begin, you need to create a new task or modify an existing one. When creating a new task, click on the "Due Date" button. If you are modifying an existing task, click on it to view its details and select "Due Date."

  2. Once you click on the "Due Date" button, Lawcus will display a calendar. Click on the "Add start date" option, and Lawcus will create a "Start Date" field. The "Add start date" link will change to "Remove start date."

3. In the calendar view, click on the Start Date for your task. Use the scrollbar to navigate to the desired month before selecting the date.

4. Next, click on the Due Date of the task in the calendar view. If the task ends on the same date as the starting date, click once again on the same date.

​Note: It is pretty much easier to click on the start date of the calendar and move the cursor until the desired due date to select the due date quickly.

5. If you want to add an ending time for the task, click on "Add due time" within the Due Date section. Lawcus will add a "Due Time" field, and the "Add due time" link will change to "Remove due time."

6. Within the "Due Time" field, click on the clock icon, and Lawcus will display an hour selector. Drag the handle to the required hour, and Lawcus will then display a minutes selector. If needed, click on either "AM" or "PM" to indicate the appropriate time of day.

7. Once you have added the start date and end date or time, click on the "Done" button to save your changes and return to the Task Details screen.

8. Finally, click on the "Update" button to save the task with the new start and end dates or times.

​Note: If this is a new task, click on the "Add" button to create it. The task will then be added to your "My Tasks" tab and your default calendar in Lawcus.
