How to Add a New Pipeline, Apply and Manage Pipelines in Lawcus?

In Lawcus, pipelines are a great way to organize and track your matters. Let's understand, how to manage them efficiently.

Steps to Add a New Pipeline

  1. Access the Matters Section on the left and click on More Actions.

  2. Select Create a New Pipeline from the dropdown, and add the Name under New pipeline name field and click on the Create button to create directly.

  3. Alternatively, under More Actions, select Manage Pipelines and add the Name under Enter to add pipeline field and click on Save. Click on the Desired Pipeline on the top and start adding stages by clicking on +Add New Stage, enter the stage name, and click on Add to complete.

  4. Further, alternatively, click on User Avatar and select Settings. Expand Firm Settings and click on Manage Pipeline and add the Name under Enter to add pipeline field and click on Save. It will ask you to add the Stages. Add all the stages by clicking on +Add New Stage, enter the stage name, and click on Add to complete.

On the Matters Page, you can click on any Pipeline and then click on +Add New Stage to add any additional stages.

Steps to Edit or Update a Pipeline

  1. Click on Matters on the left, and select the More Actions Button and click on the Manage Pipelines option.

  2. Alternatively, click on your User Avatar and select Settings. Expand Firm Settings and select the Manage Pipelines option.

  3. Click on the Edit Icon next to the pipeline name.

  4. Make all necessary changes and click on the Update button.

Steps to Delete a Pipeline

  1. Click on Matters on the left, and select the More Actions Button and click on the Manage Pipelines option.

  2. Alternatively, click on your User Avatar and select Settings. Expand Firm Settings and select the Manage Pipelines option.

  3. Click on the Trash Icon to Delete and Confirm when prompted to complete the process.

Remember, if you have an active matter attached to a pipeline, you cannot delete that pipeline.

Note: Remember that adding a new pipeline does not automatically assign it to any matters. You will need to manually assign the pipeline to individual matters or configure automation rules to handle the pipeline assignments automatically.
