Lawcus allows you to set up and track your leads through different stages right till they sign an agreement and turn into customers. By default, Lawcus provides a 4-stage lead conversion process, consisting of a Prospect, Initial Consultation, Follow up, and Sign Agreement stage. However, you can define your own lead conversion process. You can:
Rename the existing stages
Re-order the existing stages
Add a new stage
Delete a stage
Renaming a Stage
To rename a stage:
1. Move the mouse pointer onto the name of the stage. A More Options icon will appear next to the name.
2. Click on the More Options icon and select Rename Stage from the menu that appears.
3. Type a new name and press Enter on the keyboard.
Re-ordering Stages
To change the order of the stages that you have defined:
1. Move the mouse pointer onto the name of the stage. A More Options icon will appear next to the name.
2. Click on the More Options icon and select Reorder Stages from the menu that appears.
Lawcus will display the Reorder stages form.
3. Drag and drop the stages to the desired location.
4. Finally, click the x button to close the form.
Tip: You can also reorder the stages by pointing to the name of a column and dragging it to the left or right.
Adding a Stage
By default, Lawcus provides a 4-stage lead conversion process, consisting of a Prospect, Initial Consultation, Follow up, and Sign Agreement stage. But you can add more to stages to the list, if required.
To add a stage:
In the Leads screen, click on Add new stage.
2. Type the name of the new stage and click on the Add button.
Lawcus will add the new stage to the end of the list of stages.
3. Drag and drop the new stage to the desired location.
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 to add more stages.
5. Finally, click on the x button to exit from the Add New Stages mode.
Removing a Stage
You can remove unwanted stages from the Lead conversion process.
To remove a stage:
1. Move the mouse pointer onto the name of the stage. A More Options icon will appear next to the name.
2. Click on the More Options icon and select Remove from the menu that appears.
Lawcus will ask for confirmation and tell you that all the matters mentioned in the stage will be closed when you remove the stage.
3. Click on Remove to remove the stage. Lawcus will remove the stage, and close and archive all the matters mentioned in the stage.
