Automating the process of converting leads into matters can greatly streamline your client intake process and save you valuable time. You can automate the entire lead conversion process, from receiving an intake form submission to creating a matter and even generating an invoice.
Steps to Automate Lead Conversion to Matter
Navigate to
Automation
and click on the+Add Workflow
button to create a new workflow.Add a
Workflow Name
andWorkflow Description
to help you later identify its purpose.Select
Intake Form Submitted
as theTrigger Type
for the workflow. Select the specific intake form you want to use as the trigger for this workflow and clickContinue
.Choose
Convert to Matter
as a new action for the workflow. Configure the settings for converting the lead to a matter. Embed the Intake Form Values by clicking on theValue from Trigger
. The following values to be taken from the Intake Form:Lead ID
,Matter Pipeline
, andMatter Stage
.Click on
Continue + new action
to add a new action.Select
Create Invoice
as another new action in the workflow. This action allows you to generate an invoice for the newly converted matter.Note that you can add as many new actions per your requirement.
Once you have completed the action setup, click
Save
to finalize and save the workflow.
