How to Manage Your Subscription in Lawcus?

Manage Lawcus subscription: Choose plan, payment, update card, cancel if needed.

Managing your Lawcus account subscription enables you to handle various aspects of your plan, including selecting the appropriate subscription level, making payments, and updating your payment information.

Access Your Subscription Settings

To manage your subscription:

  1. Click your Avatar in the top-right corner.

  2. Select Manage Your Subscription.

From here, you can review and manage your current subscription, payment details, and billing preferences.


Choose Your Subscription Plan

You can change your Lawcus subscription plan based on your firm’s requirements.

  1. Open Manage Your Subscription.

  2. Select the plan that best suits your needs.

  3. Review the features and pricing for the available plans.

  4. Select your preferred plan.

  5. Click Update Plan to apply the change.


Choose Your Billing Frequency

You can choose between Monthly and Yearly billing.

  1. Open Manage Your Subscription.

  2. Select your preferred billing frequency.

  3. Review the updated pricing.

  4. Click Update Plan to save your changes.

Tip: Yearly billing may offer savings compared to monthly billing.


Update Your Payment Method

You can add or update the credit card used for your Lawcus subscription.

  1. Go to Manage Your Subscription.

  2. Locate the payment method section.

  3. Select Update Card.

  4. Add or modify your card details.

  5. Save your changes.

Keeping your payment information up to date helps prevent interruptions to your subscription.


Cancel Your Subscription

You can cancel your Lawcus subscription from the subscription settings.

  1. Go to Manage Your Subscription.

  2. Click Cancel Subscription.

  3. Review the cancellation details and refund policy.

  4. Confirm the cancellation.

Important: Review Lawcus’s refund policy before cancelling your subscription to understand the applicable terms and conditions.


Delete Your Organization

If you have multiple organizations, you can delete an organization from the organization management settings.

Important: Deleting an organization is permanent and cannot be undone. Once an organization is deleted, its data is removed from the system and may be difficult or impossible to recover.

Only delete an organization when you are completely certain that you no longer need it or its data.


FAQ Section

FAQ1: If I make a user account inactive, will Lawcus stop charging me for it immediately?

Answer: We ensure that our billing is fair by prorating the charges. So, we add the user's unused credit to your Lawcus account, which can then be used towards your next billing.

FAQ2: How to Ensure You're Not Paying for a User Who is No Longer Listed on Your Account?

Answer: If you have deleted a user from your account, you will not be charged for their access. To ensure you're not paying for a deleted user, you can double-check with our billing team by requesting the number of paid users on your account.

FAQ3: Will it be an issue to cancel a user's subscription before we bill for his/her uninvoiced time?

Answer: We recommend marking users as inactive to retain their data and name on items. Lawcus will not charge you for inactive users.

FAQ4: Are subscription cancellations effective immediately or extended till the end of the period paid for

Answer: Once you cancel your Lawcus subscription, it is canceled immediately. Please note that any pending charges or upcoming billing cycles will be handled accordingly, and you will not be billed beyond the cancellation date.

FAQ5: Is there a way to export my data if I cancel my subscription with Lawcus completely?

Answer: All your data belongs to you, so you can export it whenever you want. After canceling, we have a backup for your data for 30 days, so during this period, you can export your data out of Lawcus.

FAQ6: Can users be on different pricing plans?

Answer: No, there aren't separate subscription plans for different users of same organization. All users are on the same pricing plan, ensuring even access and features across the board.

FAQ7: Can I add a license for my assistant to use Lawcus?

Answer: Yes, you can.
