How to Manage Your Subscription in Lawcus?

Manage Lawcus subscription: Choose plan, payment, update card, cancel if needed.

Managing your Lawcus account subscription enables you to handle various aspects of your plan, including selecting the appropriate subscription level, making payments, and updating your payment information.

Steps to Manage Your Subscription

  1. Click the Avatar Icon and select Manage Subscription from the menu.

  2. Choose the plan that best suits your needs: Business, Plus, or Standard. Each plan offers different features, so make sure to review their details before making a selection.

  3. Decide your preferred Payment Frequency by choosing between Yearly or Monthly. Selecting a yearly payment schedule may result in cost savings compared to paying on a monthly basis.

  4. You can update your payment information by Adding or Modifying your credit card details under Update Card. It is essential to ensure that your card information is up-to-date to prevent any interruption in your subscription.

  5. You can cancel your subscription at any time by clicking on Cancel subscription. Before doing so, review our refund policy to understand the terms and conditions of canceling your subscription.

  6. In case of modification, please click on Update plan to update your subscription.

FAQ1: If I make a user account inactive, will Lawcus stop charging me for it immediately?

Answer: We ensure that our billing is fair by prorating the charges. So, we add the user's unused credit to your Lawcus account, which can then be used towards your next billing. In addition, we can backdate the billing from the day you requested to deactivate your user account. This ensures that you won't be charged for the period we processed the request. By doing so, we make sure that you are billed accurately based on your actual usage.

FAQ2: Am I charged for a new license immediately after sending a user invitation?

Answer: Yes, the system immediately bills you for the new user. However, if the user does not accept the invitation, we can process a refund. Please contact us at support@lawcus.com for assistance.

FAQ3: How to Ensure You're Not Paying for a User Who is No Longer Listed on Your Account?

Answer: If you have deleted a user from your account, you will not be charged for their access. To ensure you're not paying for a deleted user, you can double-check with our billing team by seeking the number of paid users on your account.

FAQ4: Will it be an issue to cancel a user's subscription before we bill for his/her uninvoiced time?

Answer: We recommend marking users as inactive to retain their data and name on items. Lawcus will not charge you for inactive users.

FAQ5: Are subscription cancellations effective immediately or extended till the end of the period paid for?

Answer: Once you cancel your Lawcus subscription, it is canceled immediately. Please note that any pending charges or upcoming billing cycles will be handled accordingly, and you will not be billed beyond the cancellation date.

FAQ6: Is there a way to export my data if I cancel my subscription with Lawcus completely?

Answer: All your data belongs to you, so you can export it whenever you want. After canceling, we have a backup for your data for 30 days, so during this period, you can export your data out of Lawcus.

FAQ7: If I sign up for a month just to test out Lawcus, am I locked in?

Answer: No, you are never locked in. Our monthly plans are thoughtfully designed to offer you the utmost flexibility. You have the freedom to cancel your subscription at any time that aligns with your needs.

FAQ8: Can users be on different pricing plans?

Answer: No, there aren't separate subscription plans for different users of same organization. All users are on the same pricing plan, ensuring even access and features across the board.

FAQ9: Who determines the billing interval for user accounts?

Answer: The admin account is responsible for setting the billing interval—be it monthly or yearly—for all user accounts.

FAQ10: Can I add a license for my assistant to use Lawcus?

Answer: Yes, you can.
