Use the Referred By field in Lawcus to record who referred a contact to your firm and view the contacts referred by them. This helps you keep track of referral relationships directly from the contact record.
Adding a “Referred By” in Contacts
To add a referral source to a contact:
Go to Contacts from the left panel.
Locate and open the contact you want to update.
Click Edit Contact.
Scroll down to the Other Info section.
In the Referred By field, search for and select the contact who referred them.
Click Update Contact to save your changes.
Viewing Contacts Referred by a Contact
Once a contact is selected in the Referred By field, Lawcus automatically tracks the referral relationship.
To view the contact's referrals:
Go to Contacts.
Open the contact who is listed as the Referred By contact.
Locate the Referrals section or column.
Open Referrals to view the contacts who have identified this person as their referral source.
This allows you to easily track referral relationships and see which contacts have referred clients to your firm.
Note:
1. You can also add the Referred By option to a Lead. It works the same way as it does for Contacts.
2. The Referrals section appears only when the contact has referred at least one person.
