With Lawcus, sending invoices to your clients has never been easier. Utilize the speed and convenience of emails to deliver PDF invoices, complete with payment links, ensuring a seamless payment process for your legal services.
Method 01: Steps to Send an Invoice by Email
Go to the
Billing
section from the sidebar menu.Open
the invoice you wish to send byClicking
on theInvoice Number
.Click
More Actions
on the top and chooseSend by Email
from the dropdown list.Customize the email content (if required), or you may use templates and hit
Send
.
Note: You must integrate your emails with Lawcus to send invoices via email. Without the integration, sending invoices via email is impossible.
Note: You can also directly access invoices from the Matters
, Leads
, or Contacts
page, use the More Actions
button, and select the Send by Email
option from the dropdown to send the invoice.
Method 02: Steps to Send an Invoice by Email
Go to the

Note: You can send multiple invoices in bulk at the same time by selecting the checkbox for multiple invoices under method 2.
Sending Invoice to Multiple Recipients
It is worth noting that in order to send an invoice to multiple recipients, you must add all the recipients as related contacts, for that matter, or leads. While adding the contact as Related Contact
, you can select the checkbox that says Bill Recipient
to add them to the Recipient list automatically. Otherwise, you can also manually add other associated contacts. Please remember that you must add all the recipients as related contacts.

Sending Multiple Invoices to Multiple Recipients

Note: When sending multiple invoices to multiple recipients, Related Contacts

will not be added as recipients automatically, and you will not have the option to add them manually.
FAQ Section
FAQ1: Is there an option to send an invoice or request trust funds from the mobile app?
Answer: We don't have this functionality at the moment.
FAQ2: What can I do if I'm having trouble sending an invoice via email?
Answer: If you can't send an invoice, first check your internet connection to ensure it's stable. The issue may also be caused by a recent password change or an expired email access token after being connected to Lawcus for more than a year. Lastly, verify your email integration under Settings > Apps and Integrations > Email and Calendar Integrations to ensure everything is set up correctly.
