The Main Window

The Main Window gives you a quick overview of your practice.

Main_Dashboard_Window.png

It contains a series of panels that give you an overall idea of the performance of your practice. Let's look at each of these panels in detail.

Note: You can use the date range drop-down list to select the period for the graphs that appear in these panels and Lawcus will show data for the selected period. You can select any of the following periods:

  • This Year: The current year

  • This Quarter: The current quarter

  • This Month: The current month

  • This Week: The current week (Mon-Sun)

  • Last Year: The previous year

  • Last Quarter: The previous quarter

  • Last Month: The previous month

  • Last Week: The previous week (Mon-Sun)

  • Last 7 days: The previous 7 days. This is different from "Last Week". Last week is always Mon-Sun, whereas the Last 7 days is 7 days back counting from the current day. For example, if the current day is Thursday, Lawcus will display the graphs with data from the previous Friday to the current day.

  • Last 30 days: The previous 30 days. This is different from "Last Month". Last month is always the previous, whereas Last 30 days is 30 days back counting from the current day. For example, if the current day is 30th October, Lawcus will display the graphs with data from 30 days prior to the current day.

  • Custom: If none of the above ranges suits you, you can select your own custom range.

Select_Custom_Date_Range.png

You can either type the dates in mm/dd/yyyy format, or select the dates using the calendar icons.

Today's Agenda

Dashboard_Todays_Agenda.png

Lawcus can integrate with Google Calendar, Outlook, and the Office 365 Calendar.

If you have set up the integration between Lawcus and your Google/Outlook/Office 365 Calendar, the Today's Agenda panel will display a list of all the tasks or events you have for the current day. This panel also lists all events/tasks created from within Lawcus.

Tip: To view all tasks or events in the list, click on the View all link (

Dashboard_Lead_Trends.png

The Lead Trends panel gives an overview of how successful you have been in converting your leads into matters. This panel is a combined version of the Leads Added panel, Conversion Rate panel, and the Pipeline Value panel.

A. This section shows you:

  • The number of new prospective leads added to your pipeline in the selected date range.

  • The number of leads converted during the selected date range (irrespective of whether the lead was added in this period or some previous period).

  • The number of leads not hired/lost during the selected period (irrespective of whether the lead was added in this period or some previous period).

  • The total number of active leads in the pipeline for the selected period.

B. This section shows you the Conversion Rate, i.e., the number of converted leads ÷ the number of new leads in the selected date range.

C. This section shows you:

  • The amount of business (value) you can get from all the leads in your pipeline for the selected period.

  • The amount of business (value) you have got from the converted leads for the selected period.

  • The amount of business (value) you have lost from leads that were not hired/lost during the selected period.

Note: If you move the pointer over any data point in the graph, Lawcus shows you the values on that particular day. For example, in the following screenshot, we can see that on 09/22 we added 1 new lead, and converted 2 leads into clients (remember, conversions is based on the total number of leads in the pipeline); thus we have a conversion rate of 200%.
