Tags in Lawcus allow you to categorize your contacts, making organizing and finding the information you need easier. This guide will walk you through the simple steps to create tags for your contacts.

To add or create new contact Tags:

  1. Click on “Contacts” from the left side menu.

  2. Click on “Contact Tags” to view the existing list of contact tags or to add new tags.

  3. Put the tag name by clicking on the “Tag Name” bar and finally click on “Create” to create the tag.

  4. To delete the contact tag, click on the delete button next to the contact tag. It will prompt a confirmation; click on “Yes” to complete the action.

To add tags to contacts:

  1. Begin by creating a new contact or editing an existing one. To create a new contact, click the "Add Person" or “Add Company” button, or to edit an existing contact, click on the contact's name to access their details and click on the edit icon.

  2. In the contact details view, locate the "Tags" section. This is where you will assign tags to the contact.

  3. If you already have tags created and want to assign an existing one to the contact, type the tag's name in the input field. Lawcus will automatically suggest matching tags as you type.

  4. If the tag you want to use does not exist yet, hit the "Enter" key after typing the tag name. This action will create a new tag with the name you entered.

  5. Once you have either selected an existing tag or created a new one, it will appear as a label in the "Tags" section.

  6. Click the "Update" button to save the changes. The contact will now be associated with the tag you've added.
