Creating new events on the Lawcus calendar is super easy. Here are the steps to create a New Event:
Create a New Event on the Lawcus Calendar
1. You can either click on the "+ New Event
" button or click on the Calendar
to start the process.
Note that if you click on the calendar directly to schedule a new event, it will automatically capture the clicked date and time slot as the date and time of the event. So, you can click directly on the desired slot to update the event.
2. The new event pop-up will appear once you click on it. Add the following details;
a) Add a title
for future and easy reference,
b) Add
or Edit
the date and time of the event by simply clicking on it.
c) Toggle All Day
if it is an all-day event.
d) Click on Repeat
for recurring events.
e) Add Description
, matter/lead
, if required, by clicking on it.
f) Edit Calendar Name
and Event Color
by simply clicking on it, if required.
g) Add Location
of the event by clicking on it.
h) Add the guests
from the dropdown list.
i) If you are required to add a Tag
, or Reminder
, please click on "More Options
".
3. Once all details are added, click the "Save
" button to create the new event.
Editing an existing event on Lawcus
If you are required to edit an existing event on Lawcus, please follow these steps;
a) If it is just the date and time, simply drag and drop
the event for quick edit. You will receive the operation success message on the screen.
Note that when you drag and drop recurring events, it asks for confirmation of "This Event
" or "This and following events
". Once confirmed, the operation will be completed.
b) In other scenarios, please click on the event to view its details and then click on the Edit
icon to edit them.
c) The Event detail page will appear. Make all necessary changes and click the "Update
" button to incorporate them.
d) Click the cancel icon to discard changes and confirm "Discard
" when prompted.
Deleting an Event in Lawcus
To delete an event in Lawcus, please follow through the following options;
a) Click on the Event you desire to delete.
b) Click directly on the "Delete
" icon to get the confirmation pop-up to appear on the page, and the event will be deleted upon confirmation.
c) Alternatively, you can click on the Edit icon to verify all the details, then click on the "Delete
" button to confirm the pop-up to delete the event.
d) You can also click the cancel icon to cancel this process.
