Effective communication with clients is essential in the legal profession, and Lawcus makes it easier than ever to share information and collaborate on matters. However, there may be situations where you need to revoke access or "unshare" a matter with a client.
In this support article, we will walk you through the process of unsharing a matter with a client in Lawcus.

To unshare a matter with a client in Lawcus, follow these steps:

  1. Open the specific matter that you want to unshare with the client.

  2. Look for the Quick Actions tab on the right-hand side. This option is in the info section of the matter.

  3. In the Quick Actions tab, look for Share Matter with Client option. This feature allows you to manage client access to the matter.

  4. Click on the "Share Matter with Client" option, and you will see clients who currently have access to the matter.

  5. There will be an option to Remove Access with the selected client. Click on this option to revoke the matter access from the client portal.

By following these steps, you can successfully unshare a particular legal matter with a client, ensuring their access to the matter is revoked as needed.
