How to export data from MyCase

MyCase allows you to export almost all of your data from the system.
To export data from MyCase, you must have access to an administrator account.

To do a Full Export, follow the below instructions:

  1. Open the Settings page by clicking on your name in the top right corner.

  2. Select the Import/Export section in the menu on the left.

  3. Click on Full Backup

  4. Select the file format as CSV

  5. Select Include all firm cases

  6. Click on Create Backup

The backup will automatically be created in 10-15 minutes; after that, you can download and share it with our migration team.

The full backup file has data for Contacts, Matters, Messages, Calendars, Tasks, Time & Expense Entries, and Balances.


To do Lead Export, follow the below instructions:

Active Leads

1. Go to the Leads section and click on Active.

2. Click on Export Icon - It will be available in the background tasks after a few minutes & you can download it from there and share it with our migration team.

Did Not Hire Leads

1. Go to the Leads section and click on Did Not Hire.

2. Click on Export Icon - It will be available in the background tasks after a few minutes & you can download it from there and share it with our migration team.


Converted Leads
1. Go to the Leads section and click on Converted.

2. Click on Export Icon - It will be available in the background tasks after a few minutes & you can download it from there and share it with our migration team.
