How to Manage Your Profile Settings in Lawcus

Customize your Lawcus profile by updating your personal information, language preferences, timezone, and working week.

The Profile page allows you to manage your personal account information, security settings, communication preferences, and billing targets. These settings are unique to each user and help personalize your Lawcus experience while ensuring scheduling, email communication, and reporting work correctly.


Accessing My Profile Section

  1. Click your Profile Avatar in the top-right corner.

  2. Select Settings.

  3. Under User Settings, click Profile.

The Profile page contains the following sections:

  • Basic Information

  • Profile Photo

  • Password Management

  • Two-Factor Authentication

  • Email Signature

  • Practice Rates & Targets

    From this page, you can update your personal information and preferences.


Update Your Basic Information

The Basic Information section allows you to edit your personal details.

You can update:

  • First Name – Your display name in Lawcus.

  • Last Name – Your surname displayed throughout the application.

  • Email Address – The email associated with your Lawcus account.

  • Phone Number – Your contact number.

Change Your Timezone

Your timezone determines how Lawcus displays date and time information.

Setting the correct timezone ensures:

  • Calendar events appear at the correct time.

  • Task due dates are displayed accurately.

  • Appointment scheduling uses your local time.

  • Activity timestamps match your location.

To update your timezone:

  1. Open the Timezone dropdown.

  2. Select your preferred timezone.

Choose Your Language

Lawcus supports language localization, allowing each user to personalize the application by choosing their preferred display language. This setting only affects your own Lawcus interface, so other users in your firm can continue using a different language.

Firm Owners and Administrators can set a default language for the firm under Firm Preferences, while individual users can override it by selecting their preferred language from their profile settings.


To change your language:

  1. Open the Language dropdown.

  2. Select your preferred language.

Your updated language preference will be applied to your Lawcus interface.


Available language options include:

  • English (United States)

  • English (Great Britain)

  • English (Canada)

  • English (Australia)

  • English (Singapore)

  • Hebrew (Israel)

  • Arabic (United Arab Emirates)

  • Arabic (Qatar)

  • Arabic (Saudi Arabia)

  • Chinese (Simplified)

  • Chinese (Traditional)

  • Danish

  • French (France)

  • French (Canada)

  • German

  • Italian

  • Spanish (Spain)

  • Spanish (Latin America)

  • Spanish (United States)

  • Portuguese (Portugal)

Set Your Working Week

Your working week helps Lawcus understand your standard business days for scheduling and calendar-related features.

To update it:

  1. Select the Starting Day of your work week.

  2. Select the Ending Day.

  3. Click Save Changes.

For example, you may choose:

  • Monday to Friday

  • Sunday to Thursday

  • Monday to Saturday

depending on your firm's schedule.


Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of security to your Lawcus account by requiring a verification code when you sign in.

Email Signature

Your Email Signature is automatically appended to emails sent from Lawcus, allowing you to include information such as your name, title, contact details, company logo, and legal disclaimer.

Practice Rates & Targets

The Practice Rates & Targets section lets you configure your personal billing rate and productivity goals used in reporting and billing insights.

You can manage:

  • Hourly Rate – Your standard billing rate.

  • Target Billing Amount Per Year – Your annual billing goal.

  • Working Days Per Year – The number of working days used for productivity calculations.
