If you want your document template to automatically add related contacts such as a spouse, judge, and/or witness, Lawcus, by default, provides users with merge fields that can help achieve that.
This is useful if, for example, you want the opposing spouse’s name to be automatically included when creating a document regarding a divorce or child custody matter.
Note: Ensure you have digested our fundamental help article on document template creation before continuing.

your desired merge fields andPaste
them into the appropriate places in the existing document.
Note: This is an example of adding relations to a sample document. The judge's name has been added by copying the respective merge field: Matter.Relationships.Judge.Name
.
It is also to be noted that you need to add the relation's name when creating or updating the matter. Otherwise, the automation will not fetch the data.
