  1. First, open the matter that has the incorrect numbering scheme.

  2. Click on “Edit matter” under “Quick Actions”.

  3. Click on "Matter Number Override" from the right side menu.

  4. Enter the new numbering scheme in the "New matter number" field.

  5. Click on the "Override" button to save the new numbering scheme.

Note that this fix applies only to individual matters, not to the overall numbering scheme for your account. If you need to change the overall numbering scheme, please contact Lawcus support for assistance.
